Jewellery Gifts She Will Never Take Off
The best gift is one that earns its place. Here is my honest guide to choosing jewellery that will actually be worn.
Every December I get asked the same thing - what should I buy someone who loves jewellery? And every December I give the same answer. Buy something you can't get elsewhere, something not everyone has. Something with character and craft behind it. Something that will still be on her wrist or at her neck in ten years time.
What I do not recommend is buying something just because it is 'trending'. Trending jewellery rarely becomes a forever piece. The pieces people return to again and again are the ones with a bit of life to them - a texture, an organic shape, something that rewards a second look and has longevity in style. Something we pride our designs on.
Here is my Christmas edit, broken down by budget, with my honest thoughts on each one.
Gifts Under £100
The perfect starting pointUnder £100 is not a compromise - some of our most worn, most loved pieces sit in this range. These are the pieces that become daily habits. The earring that goes in every morning without thinking. The ring that just lives on the finger. Start here and you will not go wrong.
NEW IN Aura studs sterling silver. Sculptural, lightweight and immediately wearable.
I want to make a special mention of the Aura Studs, one of our newest pieces and already one I keep coming back to. The design started as the Aura Medallion pendant - a clean, understated oval with hints of our signature granulation and we loved it so much we made it into a stud. The softly textured centre, the hand-finished edge, the small granulated beads that catch the light as you move. Wear them alone for everyday ease or stack them alongside the Aura Medallion pendant for a matching set. At £55 in sterling silver they are one of the best value gifts in the collection.
"The best gift is one that earns its place - that still feels exactly right in ten years."
Gifts from £100 to £250
The sweet spotThis is the range I find myself recommending most often. These are pieces with real presence - a pendant that becomes a signature, a cuff that goes on in the morning and stays on all day. The budget allows for more considered materials and more time in the making, and you can feel that when you hold them.

The Fish Pendant on cord, as featured in Vogue. Worn here over a chunky cable knit - proof that one piece can do everything.
The Fish Pendant on cord has been one of our most talked about pieces this year - and for good reason. It was hand-picked by the Vogue.co.uk team for their shopping edit, featured alongside Tommy Hilfiger as one of their recommended new arrivals. I think that says everything about the kind of piece it is. Not trend-led, not obvious, just genuinely special. The changeable length of the cord means it sits beautifully over knitwear, which makes it one of the most wearable autumn and winter gifts in the collection.
Investment Gifts — £250 and Above
Solid gold. For keeps. These are the pieces for someone you want to give something truly lasting. Everything in this section is made in 9ct solid gold, which means it will never fade, never change colour, and will look the same in thirty years as it does on Christmas morning. When you know a piece will be worn every single day, solid gold is the only sensible choice. It is more expensive upfront but it is genuinely a gift for life.
The solid gold collection - pieces designed to be worn every day for a lifetime.
The Pebble Diamond Pendant is the piece I never take off. It sits close to the neck on a fine chain with a little diamond. The T-Bar is at the other end of the scale, a longer pendant with real presence, the kind that becomes a signature piece. Both are, in my view, gifts worth giving and keeping forever.
