Specialising in Granulation Jewellery, Milly Creates unique and bespoke Designs
Milly is a British Jewellery designer and maker based in the South West, UK. Milly studied Jewellery Manufacturing and Gemmology at the world renowned school of GIA in California, graduating in 2017 and since Graduating set up her own bespoke jewellery brand.
A versatile young professional with a flair for a multifunctional, storytelling design style. Milly first discovered her love for jewellery fabrication whilst travelling, particularly while in India where she attended her first silver smithing course. The course opened her eyes to a whole new world of interest and love which grew into a unique and compelling passion for Milly.
Inspired by texture, organic design and pushing metal to its limits, Milly creates designs that are unique and one of a kind. She self-taught herself the art of Granulation after her fascination and love for the Ancient Etruscan jewellery design grew. Creating a more modern and organic collection based on traditional and antique techniques. Milly truly believes all jewellery carries sentiment and memories of all areas of our lives and loves to create bespoke pieces to complement customers style and livelihood. She likes to maintain wearability in her designs while offering something unique and special for the individual.
We hope you love Milly's Jewellery and if you would like to commission your own design, please email us via the CONTACT page for more information.
Working with precious metals, pushing them to their limits to create unique designs is what we love. Milly specialises in Granulation Jewellery where she creates small balls of metal by heating it up so it retracts to the smallest surface area - a granule. These granules are then fused to organic style hand fabricated rings, pendants and earrings to create one of a kind designs. The granulation is the heart of all Milly's work and allows her to recycle old jewellery, scrap metal and work with ancient techniques to create something more contemporary and timeless.
