It was such a pleasure to work with Sue to create this beautiful ring combining some unworn and tired looking heirloom rings. Sue showed such an interest and love for the process and was involved each step of the way.
We used diamonds and sapphires from several rings and a diamond from a solitaire as the main feature, prong set in the centre. The surrounding settings are a mixture of bezel (rub over) and prong to add interest to the design. Finished off with our signature granulation in 18ct gold from the heirloom rings, using as much of the original pieces as we could.
How beautiful is the finished design? We absolutely love it and think it is such a lovely way to wear heirloom jewellery that is perhaps not to your style or no longer wearable due to safety of settings.
