Re-imagined heirloom diamond ring~We took our customers heirloom ring, which had lost a few diamonds over the years and wasn't quite their style anymore - re-designed and reset the stones. She wanted something unique, unusual in form and non symmetrical using as many of the stones as we could. A beautiful 0.47ct Sri Lankan (unheated) Blue Sapphire, Solitaire. Our customer came to us with a clear plan for what he wanted for his  fiancé, ~ Something unique, a dark natural sapphire and a white gold band ~  We started out with some sketches using pears or marquise shaped sapphires we had sourced as options. ~~~ ~~~ We opted for the partial bezel setting for longevity of the design and to help protect the more vulnerable point of the pear. The CAD is a great way to show our customer the proportions of the design and how the band will sit....
